THE STORY OF DERSCHUTZE
Blending artisanal embroidery art, Japanese selvedge denim, and narrative storytelling into wearable canvases.
Founded with the ambition of transforming traditional apparel into physical storytelling mediums, derschutze replaces printed graphics with multi-density thread artwork.
Every garment features anywhere from 80,000 to over 150,000 precision stitches, capturing surrealist landscapes, urban folklore, and cultural motifs with depth and tactile texture.
We source custom 10oz - 14oz Japanese cotton denim, 500 GSM organic french terry fleece, and full-grain oil-tanned calfskin leather.
Each batch undergoes custom water washing, solar fading, or hand-laser etching to ensure every jacket, jersey, and pair of boots is uniquely individual.
We produce strictly capped quantities for every release to eliminate unsold inventory waste.
Once a drop sells out, it remains in our historical release archive to guarantee long-term item rarity.
Double-stitched seams and reinforced stress points ensure garments age with character across decades.
